Electromagnetic Fields (EMF), also known as Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR), is a topic that many people don’t know much about, but it is important to bring more awareness to this topic if you want to protect the health of yourself and your family. Often called EMFs, these magnetic and electrical forces are all around us, and they take the form of invisible waves that can impact our health.
Even though EMFs might sound like crazy mumbo-jumbo, the truth is that scientific research has proven that changes occur within the body when a person is exposed to EMFs. Some of the symptoms of EMF exposure might include things such as sleep problems, rashes, fatigue, stress, depression, foggy thinking, digestive issues, infertility, cancer, and more. At this point, we don’t fully understand the vast amount of physical problems that can occur because of EMFs , but we know that they can cause problems for your health.
There are two main types of electromagnetic energy: artificial and natural.
Artificial EMFs come from technology made by humans, such as high voltage wires, cell phones, microwaves, and hair dryers. These are very powerful EMFs, and the type that you need to avoid. These EMFs are so strong that they can disrupt the natural energetic fields within the human body.
Our modern world is filled with sources of strong EMFs, and it is estimated that we are exposed to 100 million times more EMF radiation compared to the levels that our grandparents were exposed to. As technology advances and becomes more and more common, these levels of exposure increase each year.
Natural EMFs are found within the earth and the human body. These are low frequency EMF, and they are used to regulate the functions within the system. It has been said that there are many smaller natural EMFs within your body, and there may actually be an EMF located within every cell in your body. These EMFs regulate the functions within the body that are needed to keep you healthy.
There are actually two distinct parts of any type of electromagnetic field: the magnetic field and the electric field.
The magnetic field is created by electrical charges, such as the current when an appliance is plugged in. This magnetic field is only created when the appliance is plugged in and operating, because a current is flowing through the wires. It is hard to shield the human body from these waves, because they can penetrate concrete and steel.
The electric field is created by the force of the electricity, including voltage or electric charges. If an appliance is plugged in but not running, the electric charges are still present. Most people assume that turning off an appliance means that there are no more electrical charges running through the machine, but the truth is that the only way to remove those charges is by unplugging the appliance. These charges can be blocked or shielded by using barriers such as metal housing.
The biggest problem with EMFs is that you don’t know how much you are being exposed, because they are silent and completely invisible. Everywhere you go throughout the day will put you in contact with these fields, and the constant contact with EMFs can disrupt the natural bioelectrical signals within the human body.
Do you know there are over 5 billion operating cell phones on the planet? On May 21, 2011, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), a committee of 27 scientists from 14 different countries working on behalf of the World Health Organization (WHO), also concluded that exposure to cell phone radiation is a “possible carcinogen” and classified it into the 2B category. The pesticide DDT, lead, gasoline engine exhaust, burning coal and dry cleaning chemicals, just to name a few are all in the same category.
It has been found that EMF exposure actually changes a person’s blood profile, and multiple negative conditions can occur when you are exposed to these waves. It is impossible to avoid these waves all together, because they are everywhere you go.
Wireless technologies are at an all-time high, which means that your exposure to EMFs is quite high. Anything plugged in within the walls of your home can be causing invisible toxic pollution in your home, and you need to proactively protect your health. Be proactive about unplugging appliances that aren’t being used, turn your cell phones off at night, use your speaker phone rather than having the phone near your ear, reduce your blue tooth usage, never have your cell phone on your body, and you should also consider the use of products that protect you from these harmful EMFs.
